The first blog of the first day of a new year. It isnt really a new year for me...mebe for all the gregarions because it is a gregarion calender. Who the heck is this Gregarion guy anywya? WOnder in his frends call him greg or something.
Anyways;...before the new year, i read an article abt another soldier dying training. Then ppl who noes absolutely nothing abt soldiering commented abt the death and stuff like they were the experts of the field despite having dimwitted knowledge abt soldiering. Number 1, DEATHS ARE INEVITABLE DURING TRAINING!!! I mean seriously man...they're training soldiers, not athletes. It's two bloody different things. When you're becoming a soldier, you've already accepted the fact that at any point of time that you are in that green uniform, you can die! It's the scary truth. Only then can you operate efficiently as a soldier from which you can start to fight the enemy. Number 2, THEY ARE TRAINED ABOUT THE FACT THAT THEY CAN DIE WHEN THEY'RE DOING THEIR DUTY. I mean, come on!!! Soldiers...what do they do? They fight in wars. Everything else that they're doing at the moment is out of pure boredom. They want to show everyone else that they are not a waste of money and show that they can work...albeit in a different situation other than war. Back to the point. What im trying to say is...SOLDIERS ARE GOING TO DIE ANYWAY!!! ITs only a matter of when. So i dont really get it when a soldier dies during training...everyone decides to make a bloody big fuss abt it.
Uhuh...and that's only one part of it. Another part is..who gives other ppl the right to condemn the training that is being carried out. I mean..c'mon! He was a SOLDIER!! 10KG IS NOTHIUNG!!! Not to soldiers...mebe to sissy lifeguards who do nohting all day but sit on their asses, suntanning and blowing their whistle to anyone for very petty reasons. rubbish. Of course they have to carry 10kg! That's wat is going to help them survive out there when they're fight the war! I mean..heck. Are you going to tell him not to carry his weapon and his survival pack when he goes to war so that he can swim better as it is lighter for him?? FUck you! He'll only die faster tat way! Seriously...some ppl have no idea waht they are talking abt. Neither do i.
the gahmen has already made the training so DAMN FUN! All my fatties have enlisted in NS...everytime i ask them abt hw it's like, they will say the same thing. That they're having fun! This is ridiculous. First the chalet like facilities. Then the nice treatment from the superiors. Then the trolley bag. What's nxt? Hire maids to fight for each and every soldier? This escalation has got to stop. Period. The more they give in to the whining of the bitchy brats..the more sisified the singapore army is going to look despite posters of "fierce" soldiers guarding our airport and stuff. Im not buying it.
