On other news...CHARITY!! The most overated activity of the year and many many many many years to come! Seriously!
The most terok case is the TT Durai case. Nabeh...burn ppl's money just becoz he's the CEO of NKF. I mean...out of the $1 that you donate, the patient only gets $0.10! What the hell is he going to do wif $0.10?! Take the $0.10 and call an ambulance from a public phone? Bloody hell. Happily take good hearted ppl's money then burn on business-class rides, a gold tap( for wat??? golden water??!?) and what nots which he nor the papers mentioned. Who knows...maybe god and Durai's gang..the DURAIans. ROfl.
That's the case of a CEO which is of a bloody high profile. Then there's the case of ppl who's trying to sell $5 coupons for charity. First of all...WHAT FOR?! If the organisations want donations, they would just send ppl to ask for donations and not sell tickets and bla bla bla. They'd just try big companies or CEO's for donations from which they stand a chance to win tax-exemption for that year! Its a win-win situation rite? OF course! But those buggers keep appearing on the street and ppl like me would use them for sidestepping practice. No wonder my sidestepping is getting better!
DO you noe that those ppl get to keep at least 20% of what they've sold! and that's AT LEAST! If one is good at selling those, they could easily earn at least $100 a day! Bloody hell....THEY"RE GETTING PAID SO MUCH FOR CHARITY WORK!? And then..the company which sends these ppl to do their bidding get's to keep at least another 20%. Then our of 60%, the charity organisation uses at least 30% to cover the cost of the concert tat comes wif the ticket or somehting. Then they have to use another 20% to pay their staff. End up...patient only gets 10-%....()&#^)(*!@)(*@!&(*@!&
And then there's those ppl who volunteer for overseas charity work! Those are the most a naive or the naive-est kind of ppl ever. They think they gg there to help out and make the lives of everyone better there. Well...it would help if they had the same living standards as we do. Those work that they do are merely kind gestures tat will do little to help their lives improve. First of all...THEIR basic needs are not met fully yet. I mean...how did civilisation advanced? Well, they met all their basic needs first then when they find out tat they already have fufilled that, they move on to try something new while maintaining the fulfilment of their basic needs. And when theire advancement becomes part of a basic need, they will fulfil it b4 moving on. That's how ppl's lives get better. Not build roads and cook for them! They can do it themselves! They're just not ready yet! So IF you really want to help, help them with what THEY need not what YOU think they need to have. Rubbish...
